"Painted Flower Pot" How To

Materials:

Assorted Clay Flower Pots

Old Town Paints - Chalk Style Finish Paints / Refresh, 

 Storm, Soft Sage

Old Town Paints - Stains/ Red, Island Blue, Blue

Old Town Paints - Clear Finish

Instructions

Paint the outside of the Flower Pot - leaving the rim 

unpainted

Repeat on all of your Flower Pots.  Let dry

Paint the rims of the Pots in contrasting colors.  Let dry

Paint the stains on each Pot one at a time, with a dry 

brush. Before the stain dries, wipe off with a rag.  Let 

dry. Go back over the stain and brush very lightly around the Pot with stain.

        Repeat with contrasting stains.  Let Dry  Using a sanding block, knock  off the edges on the Pot.

Seal the painted Pots with a Clear Matte Finish.  Let Dry
